We all have those days which are better known
as a black dog day. Some people suffer it continuously, yet I am thankful that they are very few and far between for me. A black dog is what Sir Winston Churchill called his depression. It would creep up on him without warning.
This photograph was taken on the Brecon Beacons in Wales. There was an approaching storm, like the clouds of the mind and the black dog was setting in. I think everyone suffers from depression at times, but some people suffer uncontrollably. It is a horrendous situation to be in when there seems nothing but despair around you.
